🌍 Citymapper now covers over 450 cities!

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ UK: We're now in the Midlands from Telford to Lincolnshire.

πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Germany's Rhine-Ruhr region with Heinsberg, Kleve, Bocholt, Borken, and Dülmen.

🀝 We became the official partner to multiple cities and transport agencies

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ We're now the official journey planning app of The City of Jersey City, NJ.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ We've partnered with Worcestershire County Council, Milton Keynes City Council, Telford & Wrekin Council to improve access to public transport.

πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ EURO 2024: We delivered real-time navigation guidance for football fans across the Rhine-Ruhr region in collaboration with VRR.

πŸ‡«πŸ‡· Paris 2024: We delivered a gold-medal experience with bespoke features for millions of tourists and locals in partnership with Île-de-France Mobilités.

🎟️ You can now buy tickets in-app...

Plan, pay, and navigate public transport – all in one app!

If you're in the West Midlands, National Express bus tickets can be purchased directly through Citymapper! Miami residents can also buy Metrobus and Metrorail tickets. It's coming soon to your city.

🚐 ...and book microtransit in-app!

Microtransit (aka demand-responsive or on-demand transport) serves areas where buses don’t go. We added Worcestershire On Demand as the first service bookable in Citymapper this year, with loads to come in 2025.

🚌 We made buses more predictable

This year, we've upgraded the app experience for bus rides with a hugely awaited feature: tracking your bus or tram on the map in real-time. It's now in over 260 cities.

Our predicted bus arrival times are also now 35% more accurate, thanks to improvements to our live traffic predictions. Available in over 200 cities.

What if the bus is diverted off its usual route? The app is now smart enough to understand when your bus goes off-piste and is able to display the new route and travel time.

Being on time probably is the easiest new resolution for 2025 πŸ™

🫢 We progressed towards accessible transport for all

Citymapper now provides wheelchair-accessible routes in 27 cities and counting, it also benefits travellers with luggage and prams or just need fewer steps along the way.

We started to make the app more accessible with improved support for screen readers, from installing the app to navigating with voice instructions. It’s a humble start with more to follow soon.

πŸ› οΈ We listened to your feedback and fixed thousands of things
